A “Kutya éji dala” cím abból az ismert jelenségből indul ki, hogy a kutyák megugatják a holdat, ez az animális és a kozmikus kapcsolat állandóságára és rendszerességére utal. Az emberek bonyolultabb formában ugatják meg a kozmoszt. A film hat szereplőnek a szálait követi olyan formában, hogy töredékes jelenetek, töredékes életszeletek játszódnak le az ajtó mögött. Az álmok pedig szerves összekötő anyagává válnak e kis töredék életeknek.

The title “The Dog’s Night Song” is based on the well-known phenomenon of dogs barking at the moon, a reference to the permanence and regularity of the animal and cosmic relationship. Humans bark at the cosmos in a more complex form. The film follows the threads of six characters in a way that fragmented scenes, fragmented slices of life are played out behind the door. And dreams become the organic connective tissue of these small fragmented lives.
